Germany (Part 4)

This is my concluding part of the Germany series. You can read the previous parts Part 1Part 2 and lastly Part 3

At this point, you should have received your admission letter, identified your source of funds and also booked your Interview.

The Interview for the German Student Visa is not complicated at all. Basically it is to check that you indeed have a genuine intent to pursue your education.

One important factor for the issuance of a student visa is also the proof of financing. Questions relating to your sponsor and the relationship you have with this person will be asked.

During the Interview, the Embassy Official will be noting down all your responses. Answer them confidently and truthfully.

Your passport and other documents will be kept with the embassy for the duration of the application process. The entire process lasts at least 2 months, and especially if you are going to open a blocked account with Deutsche Bank, it is recommended to apply well in advance as there could be delays in the account opening process.

Do you have any questions? I will be glad to answer them
