When you've worked so hard

Have you ever worked hard for anything? Like you sat down and penned down a goal. Then you also wrote down your plan on how to achieve that goal. All that was left was for you take action and follow through these plans.

Have you ever done that?

It isn't easy.

Things will almost never go as you planned it.

You planned that you were going to live on 10% of your salary and save the rest. Then something happens. Money is needed. You have to spend. You deviate from the plan.

You plan on losing weight. In your mind, you have a well outlined diet and exercise routine. On the first day you did good with food. You ate clean. But work was stressful, very stressful and you come home late. You promised that you will exercise for 10 minutes. But you get home and you don't. You give an excuse.

I could give a  thousand scenarios of personal goals I have. And how I failed am trying  to achieve them

What then does it take to freaking achieve your goals?

Resilience.
Focus.
Discipline.

You need to be resilient. There will be so many highs and lows, and what might keep you going is your strength and resolve to see things through.

There will be other opportunities. Better it may seem. But you need to critically analyse them and you will realize that they are only deviations. Focus. Keep your eyes on the goal. Feel it. Imagine it. Live it

Oh you need Discipline. And lots of it. Discipline ensures consistency. Consistency produces results. And you need results.

How do you go about achieving your goals? Especially in a very volatile environment. I would love to hear from you.
