Germany? (Part 2)

Image result for waiting

This is the second part of the 4 part series to studying in Germany. If you missed the first part Click Here to read through it.

So you have searched for schools and applied. What are the next steps?

Waiting: As with many applications, applying for admission to a school abroad is not different. There is a certain amount of patience required for this stage. I know, you are anxious, and you are wondering at the back of your mind if you will be admitted.

In fact, you have googled the cities which your school is located many times and you have already started dreaming about living as a student there. You have read the schools website over and over again, to cross check that you didn't miss out on anything.

Now there isn't much you can do at this stage. You can only wait and distract yourself by day dreaming.

I advise that if you have applied to multiple schools, this is the perfect time to make a decision on which school you would pick. Just in case you are a genius and you get admitted to all schools

Now your admission is in: Yaayyyy!! You have received your first admission notice. You are screaming. You feel accomplished. Your dreams seems more of a reality now. Congrats at this stage. This letter is the key to a series of doors you would need to open later. A lot of questions spring up at this stage. What do I do? What are the next stages? How do I get to Germany? What are the Visa procedures?

    1. Yes I agree with you. It surely is. Unfortunately there are many stages of waiting. Waiting for your admission, waiting for your blocked account to be opened and waiting for the final decision from the embassy.
I advice that during this time you get busy, start learning German, read more about your city, and make sure you have everything ready for the next stage of the application process. Also it helps a lot to keep a positive mind about everything. I hope your waiting period ends soon, it isn't very enjoyable

    2. Nice job. Also, while waiting after we have followed the steps cautiously and carefully, we have to be prayerful and positive about it. I believe the end will worth the waiting. Team WS16.
